Southern Fabricators Inc. is a large contract manufacturer that was established in 1968. Over the years our company has grown substantially by staying ahead of a never-ending wave of technology that continues to evolve in the manufacturing industry. This technology alongside 115 well-trained and motivated employees, allows Southern Fabricators Inc. to produce high quality welded fabrications to our customers.
Currently, parts are produced using 5 Trumpf Lasers and 1 Alltra plasma/beveling machine. In order to continue pursuing the best technology available it was decided that our current nesting software needed to be consolidated from 2 to 1. In June of 2015 Southern Fabricators purchased PEP Technology Cam Software, and uninstalled Trump Tru-tops, as well as Sigma nest.
From the day of install the implementation of PEP Technology software has been a major success. Recent reports show that material yields have seen a 7-8% gain while machine productivity has increased. After six months it is safe to say that all cutting machines have been running efficiently and trouble free. From the start PEP Technology has been a difference maker in our business and mostly because of the software’s advanced nesting technique, ease of use and automation.
