1,148 Intersecting Line Segments Replaced With 178 Tangent Arcs

A high-precision waterjet cutting machine is meticulously carving intricate scrollwork patterns into a large metal sheet.

The CAD file for the finished part in the picture below consisted of 1,148 consecutive short line segments. PEP Technology’s CAD Converter automatically replaced every line segment with a tangent arc segment and developed the finished cutter path in 2 minutes.
