P.E.P. PUNCH SOFTWARE

Programming your punching machines has never been simpler!

From start to finish, P.E.P. is the most user-friendly punch programming software available.

How can P.E.P. make what is normally a difficult process so easy?

BY USING AUTOMATION AND INTELLIGENCE!

Punch programs are created in seven simple steps.

Unfold the Drawing - Step 1

You no longer have to isolate and click on bad geometry for hours prior to unfolding your drawings.

P.E.P. 3-D Unfolding automatically identifies, corrects and unfolds 3-D drawings.

Convert the Drawing - Step 2

The P.E.P. CAD Converter identifies and corrects the bad geometry while handling special cycles:

DELETES INVALID LAYERS AND INVALID GEOMETRY.

INSERTS MISSING GEOMETRY.

EXTENDS LINE(S) AND ARC(S) GEOMETRY TO CLOSE GAPS.

COMBINES CONSECUTIVE LINE AND ARC GEOMETRY.

SUPPORTS SPECIAL CYCLES: ETCH, SCRIBE, DRILL, PUNCH-MARK, PIERCE ONLY, BEVEL, AND DISPLAY ONLY.

SEQUENCES SPECIAL CYCLES, INTERNAL CUTOUTS AND THE EXTERNAL BOUNDARY OF THE PART IN THE APPROPRIATE DIRECTION AND IN THE CORRECT ORDER USING THE SHORTEST CUTTER PATH APPROACH.

Automatically Nest the Part - Step 3

The Automatic Nesting software nests irregular shapes interlocked with other parts automatically in seconds.

Auto-Tool the Nest - Step 4.

Automatic Tooling assigns the tools to the nested sheets.  Then it generates a tooling list.

Reposition the Clamps - Step 5

The Repositioning software handles the automatic repositioning of tools around the clamps and the repositioning of work zones.   The work zone module can be run in an automatic or manual mode.  Repositioning can be used for the following machines:

.  Punch machines with work zones

Lasers with work zones

.  Lasers with extended tables

Plasma Punch machines with work zones

Assign the Tool Order - Step 6

You can make any necessary changes to the tool sequencing.

Post Process and Cut - Step 7

You are ready to post process and send the program to the control.

P.E.P. Custom Post Processors support:

ALL THE CYCLES OF THE MACHINE.

STANDARD AND STRAIGHT LINE TURRETS

TRAP DOORS

SUB-ROUTINES CALLS WITHIN SUBROUTINES IN CONTROLS THAT SUPPORT SUB PROGRAMS.

ALL M & G CODES REQUIRED BY THE CONTROL

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE MACHINE OPERATOR IN THE FORM OF COMMENTS.

REDUCE YOUR OPERATING TIME AND COSTS

For manufacturers and job shops that have both cutting and punching machines, the nests created by P.E.P. are interchangeable.  To CUT a punched nest on the laser, access the laser application, select the punch nest, assign lead-ins automatically using CPT and then post process for the laser.

The ability to switch manufacturing processes gives the shop the flexibility to cut or punch as required, saving time throughout the manufacturing process and reducing production costs.

WITH P.E.P. - ALL YOU NEED IS ONE …

Imagine having ONE CAD/CAM SOFTWARE PRODUCT handle all of your programming needs!

Whether you have Lasers, Punching, Plasma/Punch, Plasma, Oxy-Fuel or Water Jet machines, you can program and drive them all with P.E.P. TECHNOLOGY© by Measurement Masters, Inc. - the industry leader in CAD/CAM for overr twenty years.
