INVENTORY FAQ:
1. How are plates put into inventory?
a. Automatic input from a spreadsheet or MRP output
b. Manually typed in
c. Remnants are saved into inventory
2. Who can view the inventory?
a. Any PEP workstation, including the Shop Floor module
3. How are plates taken out of inventory
a. As PEP nests on plates, Inventory is depleted
4. Can I print out the inventory?
a. Yes, but as soon as you do, it becomes history, instead of current information. You will get more accurate knowledge from leaving it in the computer.
5. Can I update the inventory automatically from my MRP system?
a. Yes – any comma separated value file can be imported into the Inventory
6. Can PEP Inventory update my MRP system?
a. Yes – PEP can output a file to update your MRP system with Inventory contents. This may take some custom programming to suit your format, but it is a simple task.
7. Can inventory give my purchasing agent a “Buy” list?
a. Yes
