INVENTORY DIRECTORY FEATURES
The highlighted nest in the directory below displays the word ALLOCATED in the status column to the right of AREA.
A picture of the scheduled nest will appear in the PREVIEW window until the plate is cut and the remnant placed into inventory.
Nested plates that have been “cut”, the nest closed and the remnant put back into inventory will display the word REMNANT.
Remnants are automatically defined by the software when the skeleton parameters are filled in. The stair step skeleton slice on the nest below is an example of how the remnant gets defined automatically.
Remnants for plates that have been sliced along the stair step cut or at the right edge of the nest will have the status changed to remnant once the plate has been reported cut.

| Status | Allocated implies the plate has been nested on but not cut. |
| Date Allocated | The date the plate was nested on. |
| Preview | Displays the highlighted plate and nest when allocated but not cut. |
