THE P.E.P. CAD SOFTWARE MODULE

In addition to drawing and producing the machine code simultaneously, the Draw module’s special feature is its artificial intelligence that assists the user when creating part geometry. The Draw module becomes a parametric when the user selects to record his keystrokes and use variable inputs rather than X/Y coordinates.

Rather than selecting from a large menu or picking graphic symbols, the Draw module displays a short sentence in English, prompting the user to select the most appropriate selection the program has displayed. The menus and prompts are displayed below the graphics. Because the same prompts reappear in the same sequence, the recorded keystrokes will work for an infinite number of similar parts having different coordinates.

After each entry is made, the program will perform the necessary math calculations and display the entry graphically. Once the results are accepted the program will automatically produce the machine code and select the next question to be asked.

• Automatically inserts chamfers, tabs and radius corners.
• Automatically clips all geometry that is not pertinent to the cutter path.
• Automatically sequences the cutter path.

• Automatically compresses, archives and saves the part program files.
