One of the most important features of the CAD Converter is its ability to:
within user defined parameters. In the example above, the CAD Converter will identify multiple and overlapping lines (lines 1 through 3) and combine these into one line. It will also extend the line to bridge the gap to the right of line 1 (not add a small line) and trim the excess geometry on the left. If you so choose, a report listing all of the fixes made to the part can be printed.
The converting, correcting and cutter path development normally takes three seconds!
The converter recognizes and converts all line types including poly lines, ellipses and spline data.
CAD Drawings can be inaccurate and contain multiple geometry errors. If these errors are not identified and corrected, the end result is scraped parts, increased costs and dissatisfied customers. The geometry errors listed to the right of the drawing below are examples of the types of errors the CAD Converter will find and automatically correct.

The CAD converter generates an report for each drawing as it is converted so you can see the errors that have been identified and corrected.
